DecaMaps is a sophisticated application designed for iPhone and iPad users who wish to create detailed and expansive maps with minimal effort. The process of generating a custom map is remarkably straightforward, requiring only two steps:

1. Select the desired area on the map.
2. Activate the scissor tool to initiate the creation of a large, detailed map.

This intuitive approach allows users to quickly visualize their selections without the need for extensive zooming in or out, maintaining both a broad overview and intricate details on the same screen.

The app also offers an impressive printing capability, enabling users to produce a large poster that consists of up to 16 sheets of paper. It is compatible with various paper sizes including A4, Letter, B4, and B5. To print larger maps exceeding four sheets, users can purchase a “large poster print add-on,” which eliminates in-app advertisements. It is important to note that printing requires an AirPrint-compatible printer connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.

Additionally, DecaMaps allows users to save their created maps directly to the Camera Roll. Users can store high-resolution images of up to 26,000,000 pixels. Although the saved image may not retain full zoom capabilities within the Camera Roll, its original quality remains intact and can be viewed on compatible apps or transferred to a PC for better resolution display.
